Fun Fact: I am a really good skier!
Favorite Bible Verse: “Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14 ESV
Why YouthLead: I chose to be in YouthLead because I loved all the big events I was able to attend with my small youth group. I wanted the opportunity to be in the behind-the-scenes aspects and also lead other kids my age to faith.
Allison Shrag
Church and City: Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, KS
Grade: 11
Fun Fact: I hate to be bored so instead I’m always doing something. These activities include anything from sports to art to reading to anything outdoors.
Favorite Bible Verse: “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” Romans 8:18 ESV
Why YouthLead: I chose to be a part of YouthLead because an adult in my church exposed me to it. They thought it would be something I was interested in, and they were correct. I love to be involved in things and help in decision making processes. I always want to find a way to help or be of assistance, especially in things involving my faith. It was a great way for me to become a better leader and help both myself and others in walking with Christ.
