MinistrySafe

The LCMS Kansas District has partnered with MinistrySafe to better educate and equip the workers in our congregations and schools to recognize the signs of child sexual abuse and to better understand the tendencies of child predators — all at no cost to our congregations and schools. You can immediately roll out the MinistrySafe Sexual Abuse Awareness program among your staff and volunteers. Their resources and training are FREE to our ministries (background checks through MinistrySafe do have a cost per individual screened). Please take advantage of MinistrySafe resources and their training program to protect the children in your ministry and equip your staff and volunteers.

MinistrySafe is also offering a webinar series in 2026, titled Journey to a Safer Ministry. This webinar is a monthly, one-hour series designed to help ministry leaders take meaningful steps toward stronger child protection. Topics include understanding risk, identifying vulnerabilities, implementing safeguards, and building a culture of protection for children and volunteers.
