Adult Education

Equipping adults for faithful service to God and His Church

Adult Education in the Kansas District

The Kansas District recognizes the importance of education for Christians of all ages. The Parish Education Committee meets regularly to assess needs and practices; identify, recommend, and/or create resources and training opportunities; and advocate for strong support of adult education in congregations.

We’re supposed to “pray at all times,” but it can be a challenge to find the time. The Parish Education Committee recommends the “Getting Things Done” (GTD) workflow. See how it works in this short video (with thanks to Pastor Bryan Wolfmueller for his demo).

Need a handy list of recommended resources available from Concordia Publishing House? The Parish Education Committee has put two lists together, one for catechetical and home devotion resources and the other for Bible studies. Download the lists and share with others in your congregation.
