THE GATHERING LINEUP
Speaker: DCE Hailey Jo Miller
Hailey Jo is Director of Student Ministries at Memorial Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD. She is married to Blake, who is the perfect balance to her loud and outgoing personality. They have two daughters, Riley Jo and Harper. The four of them enjoy taking trips to their favorite waterpark, Schlitterbahn, and spending time with their extended family. Hailey Jo loves sharing the Gospel of Christ with those around her. Her favorite is when connections are made between His word and the lives of those that hear the Gospel.
Speaker: Rev. Travis Hartjen
Travis is an LCMS church planter in the north Dallas-Fort Worth area. Before that he was a DCE who served in Austin and Houston. He loves sharing his life and the great hope of Jesus with those inside and outside the church. He currently co-hosts a weekly podcast called Known Legacy: By Dads for Dads and is starting the next church plant in the Argyle, TX area. He has four kids with his wife, Tara.
Band: Remedy Drive
Remedy Drive is a rock band from Nashville, TN. This will be the band’s second time at the Kansas District Youth Gathering. The band is involved in frontline work in the modern day resistance to human trafficking, and the work is reflected in the melodies. David Zach, lead singer of Remedy Drive, will speak about his work as an undercover operative around the world finding evidence of child trafficking through the abolitionist organization The Exodus Road. The band’s newest album is called The North Star and can be found here: www.remedydrive.com
Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, of one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” (Col. 3:12-14)
