Lutheran Schools Reopening

It’s “back to school” time in Kansas, but everyone’s on a different schedule. Our 14 LCMS Kansas District K-8 schools are reopening over the next few weeks on 10 different dates, from August 13 to September 3. (For a full list, see our August issue of Workers Together.) Please keep our schools in your prayers as they work to carry out their mission in challenging circumstances. (They’re ready!)

Returning to Worship: Video Example from St. Paul’s, Minot, ND

Effective Thursday, July 9, we’re asking visitors to our office to wear a face mask when they enter and travel through the building, in keeping with the most recent Shawnee County order. If we’re not working alone in our individual stations, we’ll be wearing masks, too. We continue to observe additional recommended precautions (e.g., social distancing; frequent hand washing; extra cleaning) for the safety of employees and visitors.
